University Archives
The primary mission of the Indiana University Archives is to collect, organize, preserve, and make accessible records documenting Indiana University's origins and development and the activities and achievements of its officers, faculty, students, alumni, and benefactors. With an estimated 18,000 cubic feet of records and papers in all formats, the University Archives is the largest and most comprehensive source of information on the history and culture of Indiana University.
Archives of African American Music and Culture
The AAAMC is a repository of materials covering a range of African American musical idioms and cultural expressions from the post-World War II era.

Archives of Traditional Music
The Archives of Traditional Music is an audiovisual archive that documents music and culture from all over the world. With over 100,000 recordings that include more than 2,700 field collections, it is one of the largest university-based ethnographic sound archives in the United States.
The Black Film Center/Archive
The Black Film Center/Archive was established in 1981 as the first archival repository dedicated to collecting, preserving, and making available historically and culturally significant films by and about black people.
Indiana Geological and Water Survey
The IGS is the repository for more than 1,100 rock cores collected in the state of Indiana. The cores have geospatial coordinates and are accompanied by paper and digital geological logs; these data are available via the IGS's Petroleum Database Management System.
Glenn A. Black Laboratory of Archaeology
The Glenn Black Laboratory is a repository for archaeological artifacts, data, and documentation for sites in the Midwest including those associated with Indiana's largest archaeological site, Angel Mounds State Historic Site.

IU Herbarium
The IU Herbarium is a research museum with 161,000 plant specimens. It holds the largest and historically most important collection of Indiana plants from Charles and Stella Deam (which were the basis of The Flora of Indiana).
Kinsey Institute
Founded by Dr. Alfred Kinsey in 1947, the Kinsey Institute Collections document a persistent pursuit of sexual expressions, sexual understanding and knowledge, from the erotic images on a Roman oil lamp to the landmark studies of Dr. Kinsey to current research.
IU Libraries
IUB Libraries' collections support every academic discipline on campus and include more than 7.8 million books, journals, maps, films, and audio/visual materials in over 900 languages.

Lilly Library
The Lilly Library is the principal rare books, manuscripts, and special collections repository of Indiana University, serving as a resource for scholars throughout the world as well as a center of cultural enrichment. Lilly Library holdings include about 400,000 books, more than 100,000 pieces of sheet music, and more than 7.5 million manuscripts.

IU Libraries Moving Image Archive
The Indiana University Libraries Moving Image Archive (IULMIA) is one of the world's largest educational film and video collections. The archive contains more than 86,000 items spanning nearly 80 years of film and television production, including many rare and last-remaining copies of influential 20th-century films.

IU Paleontology Collection
The IU Paleontology Collection is public trust research repository for fossil material. Its 1.3 million specimens document past research projects and serve as a resource for new synthetic research on stratigraphy, paleoecology, evolution, and the biotic effects of climate change.

Jerome Hall Law Library
The Jerome Hall Law Library is among the finest academic law libraries in the country. It houses a first-rate collection in Anglo-American law as well as substantial holdings in international and foreign law.
Mathers Museum of World Cultures
Mathers Museum Collections consist of over 30,000 objects and 10,000 photographs representing cultures from each of the world's inhabited continents.
Sinor Research Institute for Inner Asian Studies (SRIFIAS) Central Asian Archives
The Central Asian Archives is a special collection within the SRIFIAS Library that consists of microfilms and photocopies obtained primarily from libraries in Moscow and St. Petersburg and manuscripts containing historical, biographical, and geographical works on Islamic Central Asia, obtained from manuscript repositories in Western Europe, Turkey, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and above all the former Soviet Union.
Wylie House Museum
Wylie House Museum is the 1835 home of the first president of Indiana University, Andrew Wylie. The historic house museum is administered by IU Libraries and serves as an academic resource for students, classes, and researchers. Archival collections include family correspondence, nineteenth-century photographs, and ephemera. Additional collections include Wylie family artifacts, nineteenth-century antiques, and heirloom gardens.
Overseen by the Eskenazi School of Art, Architecture + Design, the Sage Fashion Collection serves as a resource for students, professionals, and the public. Its museum-quality collection spans more than 250 years and includes a hands-on study collection used in classrooms and fashion design studios.
