IAS Individual Research Awards for IU Faculty
IAS Individual Research Awards for IU Faculty are unrestricted monies that can be used in a variety of ways to assist the researcher: to hire an editor, bibliographer, transcriber, data analyst, Graduate Research Assitant, or consultant; for permissions or special production costs; in support of the acquisitions of materials, software, or data sets, to name a few. Unfortunately, these monies cannot be used as summer stipends or to purchase computer equipment.
The maximum amount of the award is $7,000 for an award period of two years. The award amount is only for this application cycle. IU Faculty at all ranks may apply.
The deadline for Fall 2020 Individual Research Award Applications is October 1, 2020.
