The Translation Seminar hosts four to six speakers each year, who are co-sponsored by various departments. This long-running seminar series has a dedicated following of faculty, students, and community members. Originally an IAS program, it is now organized by Russell Valentino in Slavic and East European Languages and Cultures and Bill Johnston in Comparative Literature, with IAS continuing to provide support through publicity and hospitality.
