Associate Professor Workshop | Planning a Path to Promotion: Establishing Impact through Research and Creative Activity

Monday, April 06, 2020

11:15 AM – 12:30 PM

Institute for Advanced Study: Conference Room
624 E. 3rd St
Bloomington , Indiana 47401
Progress after tenure in research or creative activity can include expansion toward greater depth and/or breadth, and even work in entirely new directions. Making the most of one’s time in the rank of associate professor involves engagement in scholarship and creative activity that builds one’s reputation and makes a positive impact on the university and the professional community. This workshop explores questions related to identifying the next project (or set of projects), creating a multi-year plan to move toward promotion and documenting impact along that trajectory.
