Associate Professor Workshop | Contributions in Teaching and Mentorship: Leadership, Innovation, and Impact

Friday, March 06, 2020

10:30 AM – 12:00 PM

-
March 6th at 10:30 AM
Although student evaluations may be viewed as the cornerstone of a promotion dossier, successful candidates will be able to demonstrate leadership, curricular development, innovation and successful mentoring over the course of time in rank. As one plans for promotion to full professor it is helpful to engage in activities that allow for the development of a profile with evidence of reflection and achievement across these areas. This workshop will identify the many ways that impact through teaching and mentoring may be achieved and documented. The conversation will address how teaching activities may be integrated into thoughtful long-term planning.
